A series of inline monitoring sensors analyse carbon content and biogenic emissions from the sites stack emissions. By having a better understanding of biogenic and fossil-derived emissions the plant  were  able to improve their overall environmental performance and better quantify their greenhouse gas emissions.

To achieve this brief, data was collected from the devices and integrated to the sites data Historian which acts as a centralised database for all plant process data. A developed software service then allowed the stored data to be queried at set frequencies to enable further analysis to be carried out, delivering real savings and legislative compliance for the site.
